What’s Included
Everything below is included only when it’s listed in your written quote.
Flooring We Install
- Luxury vinyl plank and tile (LVP and LVT)
- Laminate
- Engineered hardwood
What Your Quote Can Include
- Removing and disposing of the old floor
- Light furniture moving, by agreement
- Cleaning and minor preparation of the subfloor
- Underlayment or a moisture barrier, where the flooring you choose requires it
- Transitions and thresholds, as specified
- Reinstalling your baseboards or quarter round when they’re suitable, or supplying and installing new ones
- Trimming doors where needed
- Removing installation debris and a basic cleanup of the work area
Leveling and small subfloor repairs are assessed and quoted separately, and so is a detailed post-project cleaning. Heavy furniture and appliances need a separate discussion. Tile work is a separate service: tile and backsplash installation.
Not Included
- Structural subfloor or joist repairs
- Asbestos removal
- Water damage that hasn’t been resolved
- Heated-floor systems and electrical or plumbing changes, which need a separate assessment and the right specialists
- Full remodels, which are assessed separately
- Hazardous materials, mold remediation, or unsafe working conditions
- Licensed trade work outside our scope

Every project is quoted from its scope: the work, the space, its condition, and your timing. Quotes and site visits are free.
Every project gets a written scope and quote before work begins. If hidden conditions turn up, we explain them and get your approval before any added charges.

Before We Start
Getting the Room Ready
Please clear personal belongings and fragile items from the work area, arrange access, and keep pets safely away. We confirm who moves the furniture beforehand.
At Your Estimate
We review the measurements, your existing flooring, the visible condition of the subfloor, any moisture concerns, transitions, door clearances, access, and disposal needs.
Materials
You or Cyrus can supply the flooring, once we’ve confirmed the product suits the job and the quantity is right. Your quote names who supplies the flooring, underlayment, adhesives, transitions, trim, and other installation materials. We confirm delivery and material availability before scheduling.
Job Sizes
We assess smaller replacements, single rooms, and multiple-room projects individually.

Can I purchase my own flooring?
Yes. Send us the product details before ordering so we can review the installation requirements and quantity with you.
Does the quote include removing the old floor?
Removal and disposal can be included. Your written quote will specify those items, preparation, trim, and cleanup so you know what is covered.
How does payment work?
A deposit confirms your agreement and reserves your service date. When we finish, we walk through the work with you, and we send the final invoice once you’re happy with everything. If you’re away, we send you photos to check first.
