What Your Quote Can Include
- Removing and disposing of the old tile, as quoted
- Surface preparation and minor repairs, as quoted after an assessment
- Waterproofing that goes with your confirmed tile work, as quoted
- Grouting, for new tile installations
- Sealing, as quoted for the materials you choose
- Caulking, as specified in the installation scope
- Edge trims and finishing pieces, as quoted
- Removing installation debris and a basic cleanup of the work area
Removing or reinstalling fixtures and adjusting outlets are assessed separately, with the right trades where needed. Shower-pan or shower-base replacement is part of kitchen and bathroom updates. A detailed post-project cleaning can be added separately.
Not Included
- Structural framing or joist repairs
- Asbestos removal
- Leaks or water damage that haven’t been resolved
- Plumbing relocation, electrical alterations, heated-floor systems, and full bathroom remodels, which are assessed separately
- Hazardous materials, mold remediation, or unsafe working conditions
- Licensed trade work outside our scope

Every project is quoted from its scope: the work, the space, its condition, and your timing. Quotes and site visits are free.
Every project gets a written scope and quote before work begins. If hidden conditions turn up, we explain them and get your approval before any added charges.

Before We Start
Getting the Room Ready
Please clear countertops and personal belongings from the work area, provide access, and keep pets away. We agree beforehand on moving furniture, removing fixtures, and protecting the surrounding areas.
At Your Estimate
We review the measurements, existing surfaces, visible damage, any moisture concerns, your tile selection, the layout, edges, transitions, and demolition needs.
Materials
You or Cyrus can supply the tile, once we’ve confirmed it suits the job and the quantity is right. Your quote can include setting materials, grout, trim, and other installation supplies. We confirm who purchases and delivers the materials, and any specialty materials, before scheduling.
Job Sizes
We assess individual backsplashes, smaller tile replacements, bathroom floors, shower walls and tub surrounds, and larger interior tile projects individually.

Questions About This Service
Can I purchase my own tile?
Yes. Send us the product details before ordering so we can review the proposed installation and quantity with you. Your quote will identify which additional materials are included.
Can you replace a few damaged tiles and match the existing ones?
We can assess smaller replacements. Matching depends on the availability and condition of the existing tile. Send photos and let us know whether you have spare tiles; an exact match cannot be promised.
How does payment work?
A deposit confirms your agreement and reserves your service date. When we finish, we walk through the work with you, and we send the final invoice once you’re happy with everything. If you’re away, we send you photos to check first.
